Guidelines for Compiling Office Market Reports

The Guidelines for Compiling Office Market Reports published by the gif Gesellschaft für Immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung e.V./Society of Property Researchers, Germany provide a uniform basis for the statistical recording of activities on the German office markets and should therefore be applied by all market participants for the compilation of market reports.

Office space is defined as accommodation in which typical desk activities are carried out or could be carried out and that is dealt with on the office market, i.e. accommodation that could be let as office space. It must therefore consist of a self-contained unit.
